One of the most well respected names in men’s fashion. Ozwald created his first men’s wear collection in the 80’s using his mother’s sewing machine. His structured classic suits have captured the eye of some of the worlds most influential superstars like Mc Jagger and Will Smith. Having headed the most iconic brands from Givenchy to Coutts.
In 1994 he became one of the first tailors to show at Paris fashion week. From there he only strode upwards, in 2003 one of the most successful films of the decade; the Matrix commissioned Ozwald to dress their male cast.
Still deeply rooted in Ghana, Ozwald has met with the Ashanti king of Ghana Otumfouo Nana Osei Tutu II along with creating a collection for the state Banquet of the 9th annual African Union Summit that was held in Accra, Ghana. As well as partnering with Chris Cleverly and Hassan Kimbugwe to create Made in Africa, a group dedicated to promoting initiatives in Africa that highlight enterprises in Africa to encourage outside investment.
With his own fragrance and a perfectly curated design label it is easy to see why he has become one of the biggest names in fashion over the past decades.
